4. Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

We share the required information to any third party without obtaining the prior consent of the user in the following limited circumstances: When it is requested or required by law or by any court or governmental agency or authority to disclose, for the purpose of verification of identity, or for the prevention, detection, investigation including cyber incidents, or for prosecution and punishment of offences. Life & Law considers your privacy to be of paramount importance. Therefore we process your personal data in a manner that ensures appropriate security of the personal data, including protection against unauthorized or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage, using appropriate technical or organizational measures (‘integrity and confidentiality’). We take appropriate steps to protect the information you share with us. We have implemented technology and security features and strict policy guidelines to safeguard the privacy of your Personal Information from unauthorized access and improper use or disclosure. 

All information gathered on our Website is securely stored within our controlled database. The database is stored on servers secured behind a firewall; access to the servers is password-protected and is strictly limited. However, as effective as our security measures are, no security system is impenetrable. We cannot guarantee the security of our database, nor can we guarantee that information you supply will not be intercepted while being transmitted to us over the Internet. 9. DATA RETENTION 

Subject to any legal requirements that requires the contrary; it is our policy to retain your data only for as long as we believe it to be necessary for the purposes illustrated in this Privacy Policy.  Use will store documents and deeds on your behalf for a reasonable period of time.  Such papers or files may be stored in an electronic form.  This service is currently free of charge.

10. YOUR RIGHT TO YOUR INFORMATION 

Sharing your information is entirely voluntary. The privacy laws of some jurisdictions also give individuals the right to access and amend their personal information. You may contact us as provided in the succeeding section, if you would like to request a copy of your data or would like to change the information we hold about you. However, to the extent permissible under law, we may refuse or limit access your personal information or grant access subject to conditions. Upon request, we will remove/block the information you have provided us from our database. However, even after the deletion or termination of your account some of your information may remain stored in our servers for archival purpose only. 

11. OPTING-OUT 

You may at any time opt out of receiving newsletters and updates from us by selecting the “unsubscribe” option included in the email or other material. 

12. GRIEVANCES 

If you have any concern in relation to the processing and use of your information or if there are any clarifications you might need with respect to our Privacy Policy, you may contact on above email. If you raise a concern as aforementioned, we shall promptly revert to you with information on how we will handle the grievance and may even seek further details, consult with other parties and maintain record of the interaction. 

13. TELL-A-FRIEND

Our website may provide a referral function whereby you may choose to use it to tell a friend about our site. Our site will ask you for your friend’s name and e-mail address as well as your information. The form automatically sends your friend a one-time e-mail inviting him or her to visit the site. We do not access or store this information, except to send this invitation.

14. STORAGE OF INFORMATION

Personally identifiable information you may share with us is stored on our database servers at Life & Law centre Kolhapur (in whatever country they may be located) or hosted by third parties who have entered into agreements with us that require them to observe our Privacy Policy. We have a firewall and other technology to prevent individuals from accessing information without authorization. Data Centre’s are designed to be physically secure and protected from unauthorized access by unauthorized persons.

15. PROMOTIONAL AND INFORMATIONAL OFFERS

Sometimes we may send offers to selected groups of customers. To accomplish this we may use third parties working on behalf of Life & Law. We provide a variety of mechanisms for you to tell us you do not want to receive such promotional – informational offers. You can elect not to receive promotional or informational material from us by following the instructions to opt-out as mentioned or included in each of our programs we send to you.
